I am a lifetime user of Vinyl for over 35 years.
Over the last few years I have been expanding my collection again by
scouring Charity Shops, Car Boots and
Ebay. However quality and condition of Vinyl from these sources is
variable and like most collectors I had taken to washing the worst
examples. I still wasn’t happy with the result and I was considering
investing £400 + in a Record Cleaning Machine. I wasn’t sure what to buy
and so searched the excellent Vinyl group at
Audioasylum.com for advice.
Here I found out about Duane Goldman the Disc
Doctor. Duane is an industrial chemist with a love of vinyl who had
developed his own cleaning product to rave reviews so I decided to try
it. I had to order it direct from the States but was very impressed. So
following on from that I decided to set up this business to provide the
Disc Doc product to the UK and also as a one stop
source for everything you need for vinyl care.
What products do we offer.
Disc Doc’s Cleaning
system as a complete package, including fluid, cleaning pads, cleaning
cloths and distilled water.
The Dry Clean
easy but effective dry stylus cleaner using micro level Velcro like
foam.
Carbon Fibre record
brushes.
Film lined replacement paper sleeves: You don’t
put washed feet back into dirty socks do you?
Zerostat anti static
guns.
I can’t guarantee that your used Vinyl will be
click free, I can guarantee your best chance for a quiet background.
Given that quiet background your vinyl will sound more alive and more
dynamic than the CD equivalent.
That dynamism and presence from the music is
why we all continue to buy and enjoy vinyl. Vinylcare products just
enhance that enjoyment.
